Terms and Conditions
Reservations: All reservations are based on a vehicle category and not a certain car model. In case of no availability for a confirmed reservation, Rentme-athens reserves the right to offer a vehicle of bigger category to the customer with no extra charge.
Driver: Minimum age is 23 years of age.
Drivers' License: The Driver is required to have and display a valid Drivers' License issued at least a year ago. Citizens of Non-EU countries are required to have a valid international Drivers' License along with their regular Drivers' License. Traffic Violations - Fines: Traffic violations and fines are bore by the Renter.
Means of Payment: The Renter is required to present a valid Credit Card for the Rental Guarantee, even if the payment is made by the use of cash. The Rental is prepaid.
After Hours Deliveries - Collections : Charged with 25€+VAT(08.30-20.00)
Out of Station Deliveries - Collections: Deliveries and Collections are On-Request. The extra charge within city limits is 25€+VAT . For Deliveries - Collections outside of the city, the extra charge is 35€+VAT as well as 0,50+VAT per klm. For reservations more than 7 days there is no extra charge within city limits.
Additional Driver: The First Additional Driver is Free Of Charge
Free Milleage: forfor 4 days or more rentals
100km per Day for 1-4 day rentals
Child Seat: The extra charge for a Child / Baby seat is 3,50€/day with a maximum charge of 50 euros and the availability is upon request.
Snow Chains: The charge for Sonw Chains is at 4,00€/day with a maximum charge of 60€/rental.
Fuel: The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it had when collected. In the case of returning the vehicle with less fuel, the renter will be charged with the fuel difference. No refunds are issued for vehicles returned with more fuel than when collected.
Accident: In case of an Accident the Renter is obliged to inform the company as well as the police kai to present the Police Accident Report to the station upon return of the vehicle to the station. In case of an Accident caused by the Renter, the Renter will be charged with 15€ Administrative fees.
Insurances: Our vehicles are insured against third party damages excluding a) Driver and passengers b) our vehicle itself(Rentme-Athens).
CDW - Collission Damage Waiver: The Renter is covered for any damage to the rented vehicle:
• over 700€ + VAT provided he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract and is charged 4euro for car categories A,B
• over 1000€ + VAT provided that he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract and is charged 6euro for car categoryC,D,D1,D2,E,L
• over 1500€ + VAT provided that he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract and is charged 8 euro for car categories G,G7,J,F
Required Prerequisite, driving according to the traffic code. No insurance covers tires damages, damages underneath the vehicle as well as loss / theft of personal items.
S.D.W- SUPER COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER: The renter is covered for any damage to the rented vehicle:
• over 350€ + VAT provided that he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract and is charged 6€ more than CDW, for every rental day for categories A,B
• over 500€ + VAT provided that he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract and is charged 8€ more than CDW, for every rental day for category C,D,D1,D2,E,L
• over750€ + VAT provided that he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the contract and is charged 10€ more than CDW, for every rental day for categoryG,G7,J,F

FDW – Full Damage Waiver: The Renter can be fully covered (with zero excess) in case of car damage provided that he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the rental agreement and is charged:
• 12€ more than CDW, for every rental day for categories A
• 18€ more than CDW, for every rental day for categories B,C,D,D1,D2,E,L
• 30€ more than CDW, for every rental day for categories G,G7,J,F

Theft & Fire Protection: The renter is fully covered (with zero excess) in case of vehicle damage due to fire or theft provided that he accepts and signs the relevant terms of the rental agreement and is charged:
• 5€, / day for categories A,B,C,D,E,P,L
• 7€, / day for categories GD,G7,J
Required Prerequisite, Proof of Non - Negligence (e.g. car left unlocked).
Driving Abroad: Not allowed.
Transfer by Ferry boat: Allowed only after prior written consent by the company and under special conditions.
Road Assistance: Rentme-athens Cars are covered with 24hrs Road Assistance. Contact details will be provided to you at the station.
CANCELATION In case of cancelation 7 days before pick up time full refund of deposit is made. If the cancelation is in less than 7 days no funds paid will be reimbursed.
Ιn case that the renter has prepay all the amount of the reservation and he cancel 7 days before the pick up day, the rental companyrefund all the amount to the renter.In case that the renter cancels less than 7 days ,the rental company keeps the 30% of the total amount and refunds the 70% to the renter.
No-show In case the renter fails to collect the vehicle on the rental start date and time without any written or telephone
conversation, RENTME-ATHENS will cancel the reservation after 3 hours. RENTME-ATHENS reserve the right to charge the renter a one day rental
of the car group reserve
Car cabin In case the renter returns the vehicle and it's cabin has stains which require a special cleaning procedure (ie animal hair,
Sand etc on car seats or car floor or port baggage etc.), he will have to pay the amount of 80,00€
